Built in 1889, this wonderful historic home is now housing two artists: Jamaica-born Herbie Rose, known for his vibrant and colorful watercolors and Graciela Giles, a native of Argentina, shows her powerful and evocative watercolors alongside her husband's. An accomplished musician, Graciela performs her own musical compositions during ArtWalks.

Owner, Deborah McKeever is a self-taught artist who previously worked with the Arts in Medicine Program at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Celebrating our 8th year of delicious aromas filling the colorful 1910 cottage where Bonni Brown creates artful edibles, thin-crusted gourmet pizzas, addictive Chocolate Orgasm cookies, marvelous muffins, cookies, crackers and brownies. We make hand-decorated cookies for special occasions; they are always yummy and lovingly made from scratch. Most items are vegetarian. We do personalized catering and private parties too.

Village Voices is a Florida Authors Book Gallery where local authors read and sign their books on Saturday ArtWalks from noon to 2:00 pm. The Manatee Florida Book Writers Association meets here on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 and the first and third Saturdays at 4:00. Our gallery also features local woodcrafters. Artist Christina M. Lee exhibits her hand crafted one-of-kind jewelry designs in fused glass, handmade lampwork beads, semi-precious stones and sterling silver. Also featured are her hand painted silk designs. Artist Rick Lee features his hand made fused glass platters. Available by special order are Rick's handmade acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, basses, other musical instruments, and his handmade, hand-painted electronic boutique Effects Devices. The Gallery also showcases photography, blown glass, pottery and paintings by other local and national artists. >From I-75: Exit SR 64 West to Bradenton. Left at light on 9th St. West then right onto 11th, 12th, or 13th Avenues West into Village.

>From Manatee Avenue & Beaches: East to 12th Street West, turn right to end, quick left and right into Village.

>From Longboat Key: Cortez Road East. Turn left at sign Bus. 41 North Palmetto. Head North to Bradenton. Turn right at either 13th, 12th, or 11th Avenues West into Village.

We encourage you to use the parking garage at the corner of 12th St. West and 8th Ave. West. Paid parking Monday - Friday 8-6pm. Friday night ArtWalks and weekends, park free.
