| The Village of the Arts with help from the Downtown Development
Authority, a handful of artists and our nonprofit organization, the
Artists' Guild of Manatee, set out to create a community where artists
of all disciplines could live and work. Forty artists later, the
Village is well on its way. Monthly ArtWalks fill the streets with art
lovers looking for affordable fine art, jewelry, ceramics, small
furniture and clothing. |

gourmet cafes and many special events at a location just minutes from
the Gulf of Mexico. This is Florida's largest art community in a
culturally-rich area; an arts district that's full of burgeoning and
established artists who passionately support one another's careers. |
